The concept

The guinguette reinvented, by the water

In Moissac, on the banks of the canal, L'Espagnette revives the guinguette spirit with a resolutely chic touch. Come for the grilled meats and tapas, a cocktail at the bar, a game of pétanque, or simply to enjoy the terrace as the sun goes down.

The setting is refined, the furniture handpicked, the atmosphere festive and warm. In the evening, the string lights come on and the place takes on the air of a quiet celebration. A convivial spot to share, between local regulars and travellers passing through.

Our story

From the Nirvana to L’Espagnette

This was once the Nirvana, a legendary Moissac nightclub. Closed after a series of fires, then left abandoned for several years.

L'Espagnette now brings this place, full of memories, back to life in a completely different style: that of a chic guinguette by the canal.

Superbe endroit sur le bord du canal, joliment décoré avec de bonnes grillades tout ce qu’il faut pour une faire une petite pause pendant une bonne balade à vélo 😉🚴🏻‍♀️

En circuit vélo sur le canal d entre deux mers, nous avons déjeuné à l espagnette et nous n avons pas été déçu,super accueil, cuisine au top et prix très correct.merci et bravo a tout l équipe.

Les gérants ont eu la générosité de remplir mes bidons d’eau hier lorsque j’en avais le plus besoin. Je les remercie infiniment. Mais ne venez peut-être pas les déranger de manière intempestive pour cela 😅. En tout cas le lieu de ce bar d’ambiance est très jolie, je vous le recommande. Encore un grand merci pour leur gentillesse.

Je n ai pas mis d avis pour la cuisine car je suis venue juste pour boire un verre et danser . Très bel endroit et un accueil chaleureux. Nous avons été accueillis par un serveur qui s appelle Simon dont je remercie au passage pour sa gentillesse et sa bienveillance 😊. C est un endroit convivial où on se sent très bien . Alors si vous voulez un super moment et vous amuser je vous le recommande fortement 🥳

Nous nous sommes arrêter pour boire un verre et nous avons décidé d y rester déjeuner car il y a un super cadre, personnel au top avec le sourire et patron très sympa . Je recommande à 100% dommage que nous ne sommes pas de la région pour y revenir plus souvent .
